Hi Bobbi,

 

Thanks for letting me know about your experience.  I just need to know what to expect.  I will always, as I'm sure you know, need to see my Transplant team for tests and follow-ups.  It's scarry thinking about having little to no insurance. I have not had my Dr. write a note for me, as I am not yet a year out.  Thanks again,  Christine

christine i was kicked off ssd after transplant but they put me on regular social security right away as i had enough points from working thirty five years.if you are permanatly disabled i dont see how they can take you off disability.did you have your dr submit a paper to them saying your permanetly disabled?if not that would be something to do.and sometimes you have to retain a lawyer to get ssd.check out your options and good luck.bobbi
