IOL Lens Removal Surgery

I usually try to answer questions here, but today I have one. I've had diabetes for 45 years now and received a kidney transplant in 2011. I've also had extensive laser surgery for proliferative retinopathy and two cataract surgeries. In my left eye I have posterior capsule clouding that two yag laser treatments failed to clear. Rough going the first six months. Recently I have felt much better, but have a lot of trouble controlling my diabetes since the transplant.

I am trying to raise awareness about diabetes through sales of the book and hope to teach about diabetes, obesity, diet, and exercise to urban youth.
