Since transplant followup visits are often just a review of lab results I've asked in the past if they could just be done by phone or online. When a patient is stable and years out from transplant…Continue
"Everyone is different in terms of choices. I have a kidney transplant and you need a liver so there is a considerable difference in the financial aspects of transplant. In the 70's the federal government decided it would let…"
"Darn kids I've been using a microwave oven forever and I'm still kicking. I think it makes absolutely no difference how food is heated. Just don't stand in front of a microwave oven if it has bad seals or operates with the…"
"Employers aren't going to get a chance to make a decision based on your medical history if you don't tell them. This issue has come up time and again and as always the best policy is to not tell a potential employer you've had medical…"
"Livecam, I lived in the bay area for 6 years and know that unsettling sensation caused by the proximity of wildfires to where you live. This photo was taken from my back patio in Greenbrae back in 2005. If you look closely, you can see a…"

I was in Thailand and Cambodia last Oct. I would like to go to India next.I have been lucky. I have not gotten sick in almost three years. I know our immune systems are low. I have had vaccinations (dead viruses) and have eaten some exotic foods too. I get a small check for disability and so I live mostly on my savings so I cannot go that often. Are you back to work? Do you fly? Looks like you were at the controls.
Thanks. I do love to travel.I retired and spend my savings on it while I have the chance. You live in San Diego? God's country. I am in the Bay Area. Very pretty here too. I loved your comment...one foot in the grave now both feet on the ground. I may use that. HA!HA!
