i received pancreas only transplant on 01/02/2003. i had diabeties type1 for 17 years. the transplant saved my life, just other problems, ebv and then discovered anurysm where the vessel going to my new pancreas has a anurysm. taking 1 day at a time for now. See More

I also lost my colon to cancer 5 years following my Heart transplants. It's now been 8 years since that surgery. That was worse then the heart transplants. I had had regular colonoscopies, so they had missed it & still don't know how.
