Thanks so much for the useful info. Prograf is now standard prescription for kidney and liver transplants. Rapamune is now also being used, but doctors here in Colorado have been skeptical about its effectiveness."
Mohan commented on Hostess Rise''s group 'Prograf'"Thinning hair is common with Prograf. It was particularly bad when I was on the higher doses. I am now on 1 mg twice a day, and the thinning has stopped. My hair is thickening, but it's still not like it was."

Mohan commented on Hostess Rise''s group 'Transplant No-No's'"@Aaron your immune system will be kept low intentionally for life to prevent your body from rejecting your liver. You will always have to take extra precautions; and, don't be surprised if you have to make visits to your doctor often.…"
Mohan replied to Hostess Rise''s discussion 'How long are you taking Prograf for?' in the group Prograf"Agreed @hostess Rise'. Along with that, avoid green tea, grapefruit juice and anise seed. All of these interfere with Prograf.
The jojoba should be okay. However, I would suggest Vitamin E oil or Eucerin cream."
