- I can now take care of my Grandson...he was born 9 days before my transplant. I can play volleyball again and am considering going back to work. No more insulin shots after 30 + years of being an inuslin dependent diabetic. I can eat whatever I want and have energy again and do not get anemic and fatigued. Happily married with 2 great daughters :)
