John said… Hi Mel
I am 4yrs out from heart transplant. I take 250mg Cellcept twice a day and 3 mg of prograf twice a day. The dose of predinsone appears to be relatively low --- I started at 60 mg/day post transplant and was total weaned off at the one year mark. Wish the the best. Take care ................... John.
Steve said… Hi Mel,
They go through the neck except when they do a right and left cath. They have to go through the groin for that one. Biopsys aren't to bad. I am alternating my biopsys with AlloMap. I was taken off prednisone this month so next month I will have another biopsy to make sure I'm still good. My fourth grandchild was born February 2010. I never thought I would live long enough to see her first birthday. We did and I'm still going strong. Congratulations on the grandson.
Steve said… Hi Mel,
Welcome to Transplant Friends! Lots of good stuff here. I had my heart transplant July 4, 2010 at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston. Every thing is going great. I return in October for my 1year 3month check up. I hope you are doing well and good health.
