- It's hard to put in words but it has given me such a unique outlook on life. You learn life is precious and because of that you learn what is truly important in your life. Having a transplant has also brought me closer to all my family. We share a certain bond that wouldn't have experienced. The tx has also solidified my decision to become a nurse and help other young adults struggling through the same disease. All in all having a tx has made me a better person. I try to laugh more not worry as much and love harder!
