I am Interested in Transplant Friends because...: I received a double lung transplant 6 months ago.

Which Transplant Center has or will perform your life saving surgery?: Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.

Share how your transplant experience changed your life?: Before the transplant, I could barely get out of bed. I would sit and cry because I was in so much pain and could barely walk to the bathroom without getting out of breath to the point I had to sit down or I would pass out. Keeping up with my friends and going through a school day was out of the question. It felt like I was breathing out of a straw, even at rest. Now, after transplantation, I finally know what its like to actually breathe. I could finally do things I could never do before, like swim, keep up with my friends, and run.
