I am awaiting tx.......was she not able to breathe well after transplant?  What was that due to?

She felt great after the tx. Her first year she was rejection and infection free. She was feeling great, working out, working and doing all of the things she could not do before the tx. Then at almost a year and a half she had a few infections and a bout of acute rejection which they corrected with a change in her medications. The infections were treated and cleared. During this time her pulmomary function began to decline. They then tested her for acid reflux, which came up positive they did surgery and now we are hoping to get her back to feeling good again. Thanks for your reply....I too have acid reflux and know how it can affect breathing. I  recently took a turn for the worse because of it.  It is so scary and there are so many things that can go wrong.  I wish your daughter the best and hope she continues to improve.
