My daughter Jessa had a double lung transplant there on Oct. 5, 2010. So she just celebrated 2 years! She has had a few setbacks, Infections, acid reflux, and maybe rejection but hopefully now on the mend and hoping to get back to feeling and breathing easier.

I am awaiting tx.......was she not able to breathe well after transplant? What was that due to?
Permalink Reply by Christine on October 6, 2012 at 8:25pm Thanks for your reply....I too have acid reflux and know how it can affect breathing. I recently took a turn for the worse because of it. It is so scary and there are so many things that can go wrong. I wish your daughter the best and hope she continues to improve.
