Dear Amie,

I hope that this reaches you. I received an email from this site from you.  I had a multivisceral transplant which included receiving a new small bowel on October 6, 2005. I would be glad to share my experience with you. You can write to me on this site or contact me through my email at . I was on TPN 24/7 before I had my transplant, and I am so grateful that I can actually eat again. I do receive supplemental g-tube feedings at night as I need to gain some weight. However, I have much hope now when before my transplant, my hope was slipping away. I would be glad to be of any help that I can. Just let me know. Do you know about the Oley Foundation which is for those on TPN or receiving tube feedings? If you are interested this is its website . I have found it to be a very good resource and help. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers. Many hugs.

Warmest regards,

Hi all

Here is a list of our members who have small bowel listed on their profiles. Not all members receive updates via email so if you write to them and do not receive a response do not take it personal.
