I am a painter....Acrylic & Porcelain Artist.  I have painted since I was 15 and never quit.  When I go to the hospital, my painting supplies are the first to get packed.  I teach in my studio "Raccoon Ridge Studio" and make all of my gifts.  With the cost of my insurance, meds and trips to the hospital, it is gifts or nothing!  haha...    Painting has saved my sanity and gives me a reason to get up in the morning!

its tic season again.those nasty little creatures are out.pulled one off me the dog and two off the cat.looks like its going to be the year of the dandolion also.spring is officially in wisconsin now

I love wood. I love to make things of wood. Since my transplant i've put together a pretty nice woodworking shop...i have a table saw, scroll saw, sliding miter saw, band saw, spindle/belt sander, a wide assortment of power hand tools and a two stall garage to work in. Still more on my wish list but i'm getting there. I've made glass display cases, shelving, display necks for my wife's art jewelry business and assorted other things like hardwood cutting boards and even canes for a relative and a gavel and block for my brother who is a judge. It is really satisfying and fun.

I love to draw and paint.  I don't have much time now days to paint much.  I have an 85 year old mother to take care of, but when I get the chance I draw or paint portraits, landscapes or what ever turns me on.  I also like to cook.

Well I don't really have a hobby I can do any more, at least until I get my Lungs transplanted.  I am looking for a hobby to do, maybe even something that will help me bring a little spending money.
