Chronic scarring
I'm a little over my six month anniversary Kidney transplant (cadavier) . My creatine and urea-n levels where going up. I was a 6 out of 6 match. Had biopsy done and no signs of rejection but Chronic scarring. The doctors said not much can be done , some medication changes ( no more magnesium). Can be caused by immune system,blood pressure, etc. Anyone else going through this , and am I going to lose kidney ( 6 months 6 years?)

Sorry to hear about your problems. Nobody here can say what is going to happen with your kidney. When you talked to your doctor what did he say about it? Your transplant nephrologist is the person to have a heart to heart talk with about what is going on. I can tell you I've worried about things in the past only to have them turn out ok in the end. Creatinine will fluctuate over time. Next lab values could be much different than the most current ones. Try to relax and speak with your transplant nephrologist about all of your concerns.
